The Island Carvers have been in business over 3 years. Specializing in wood carvings, they have a fully functional shop where you can come in and watch them work. Always a smile, and never too busy to answer questions, its obvious that they truly enjoy their work. Vikings, gnome, or shepherds; figurines, large or small; animals too! It doesn't matter. From Nativity scenes to masks, relief and sculptural carvings, wood-burnings, and custom signs. They do it all.
If you bring them a chuck of wood, and an idea, they will carve it for you. Or they will teach YOU how to carve it. Every Wednesday afternoon, they hold open carving sessions. Everyone is welcome, from the beginners to experts. Stop in and say hello!
